The throttle-by-wire iTC adds a whole new dimension to our very well respected performance four-stroke. The inline triple with EFI delivers 130+ hp; iTC significantly increases throttle response, especially when blipping the throttle. In addition to increased performance, it gets outstanding fuel economy, up to 19 mpg (12.3 L/100km)*** in ECO mode – five percent better than the previous configuration. A new lighter weight muffler delivers a throaty performance sound.

As part of the Rotax Advanced Combustion Efficiency (ACE) family of engines, the 900 ACE engine was designed for maximum efficiency. It delivers 90 hp with a 21.8 mpg (10.8 L/100 km)*.

Rotax engineers strove to maximize thermodynamic efficiency, minimize mechanical friction and right-size auxiliary systems.

The 900 ACE includes the electronic Intelligent Throttle Control (iTC) system, which offers many breakthrough benefits:

It’s the industry’s first throttle-by-wire system for seamless power delivery and ultra-smooth engagement.

Plus, you can choose from three driving modes, simply by pushing a button on the console. Standard mode ensures a smooth start, linear acceleration and limited torque up to certain speeds; Sport has no performance limitations and full acceleration; ECO limits torque, top speed and acceleration rates to deliver a more relaxed, fuel-conserving ride.

Its exclusive Learning Key system limits top speed, ideal for novice riders and rental operations.

And you can use the throttle as a unique finger throttle or traditional thumb throttle. Just rotate the block – no tools are needed.

With the Rotax Advanced Combustion Efficiency (ACE) family of engines, Rotax engineers optimized nearly every aspect of the engine to set new standards in efficiency.

The 600 ACE version delivers 60 hp with an industry-best 29 mpg (8 L/100 km)*

Their square design (bore and stroke about equal), 12 1:1 compression ratio and ideal valve angles maximize thermodynamic efficiency.

Materials, part sizes and coatings – such as a sophisticated Diamond-Like Coating (DLC) on the tappets – are selected to minimize mechanical friction.

All auxiliary systems, such as the oil and water pumps, are right-sized – the engine only gets what it needs, when it needs it, and no more.
