21st century snowmobile racing has been dominated by Ski-Doo and the X-Team. Much of that success can be attributed to the debut of the REV platform, because it was designed from its very conception, to be extremely capable on the race track.

2006-2007
2005-2006

Ski-Doo domination continues in all disciplines, especially on the hillclimb and Rock Maple Racing snocross circuits.

  • Craig Marchbank led Ski-Doo to another record Hay Days grass drags, including a win in the Minnesota Cup race for the second straight year and fourth straight for Ski-Doo.
  • Ski-Doo won its fifth straight ESPN X-Games gold medal, courtesy Blair Morgan.
  • On the Rock Maple snocross circuit, X-Team racers earned the top five spots in both the Pro Open and Pro Stock Central circuit season championships. On the West circuit, X-Team racers won the championship in 28 of all 28 classes.
  • Bryan Dyrdahl captured the checkered flag at the grueling I-500 cross-country race.
  • 10 different drivers won 10 different classes at WPSA Lake Geneva snocross.
  • Summit sleds and racers rock the RMSHA hillclimb Pro 800 class, winning 71% of Pro 800 races and 65% of podium spots.
  • Ski-Doo racer Vinny Clark wins the Snow Week Racer of the Year award. He's the first hillclimber to win it.
2004-2005

The Ski-Doo X-Team has dominated the WSA Snocross Pro classes, winning at least 50% of all podiums over the past three seasons.

  • ESPN Winter X-Games snocross gold medal [Blair Morgan]
  • Domination of Rock Maple, SCM and CSRA snocross circuits.
  • Hay Days, Marilla, Snow Bash, you name it - pretty much every major grass drag event in North America.
  • Ski-Doo Summit sleds were almost unbeatable in RMSHA hillclimbs, winning 75% of all 800, 900 Pro races, and 60% of podium spots!
  • The Summit 800 even won 75% of RMSHA 1000cc class races!*
  • Ski-Doo Racers earned first AND second place in season championships in the RMSHA Pro 800, 900 and 1000 classes.
  • At premier hillclimb, the Jackson Hole World Championships, the Summit 800 finished 1-2-3 in the Stock class and Improved Stock classes.
2003-2004

REV platform becomes the base for all Summit hillclimb race sleds

Racers on Ski-Doo snowmobiles win:

  • 76% of podiums on the major snocross circuits, including WSA National, WSA Regional, Rock Maple Racing, CSRA, SCM, USSA and RMR.
  • ESPN Winter X-Games snocross gold medal [Mike Island]
  • Both the Minnesota and Wisconsin Cups, the most prestigious awards in grass dragging.
  • King of Kings and Improved Stock 800 titles at the 2004 Jackson Hole hillclimbs [Jason Crane]
  • The grueling 1,800+ mile Iron Dog race in Alaska. 100% of REV sleds finished, versus only 50% of Cat and Polaris sleds.
2002-2003

REV platform becomes the base for all MX Zx 440 stock race sleds

Racers on Ski-Doo snowmobiles win:

  • More than 50 percent of season class championships on the major snocross circuits
  • All four WSA snocross Pro and Semi-Pro Open championships
  • ESPN Winter X-Games snocross gold medal [Blair Morgan]
  • Numerous oval races
  • Several hillclimbs
2001-2002

A limited number of prototype REV-based race in the WSA Open class.
