CARVING ON EDGE

In this video we would like to talk about carving on edge and I want to help everyone understand: lean to turn and steer to balance.

The steering mechanism is your balance mechanism. When you steer you’re simply using that to balance the machine. So how do you turn? It’s simply lean. And when you change the balance point by leaning the machine will go into a turn, depending on your edge.

If I’m on my left edge, I’ll go into a left hand turn, if I’m on my right edge I’ll go into a right hand turn, simply by leaning.
