2020 MXZ 600RS Snocross Race Sled


Ski-Doo North American snocross racers had a season to remember last year with multiple championships and podium-filled weekends in every class. Armed with a new 2020 Ski-Doo MXZx 600RS E-TEC snowmobile to take on competition, they’re sure to be looking for more this season.


Based on the industry-leading REV Gen4 platform, riders have supreme confidence thanks to the rider-focused ergonomics and superior handling in rough conditions. The narrow design of the chassis and centralized mass offer agility and responsiveness second to none. The Ergo Step side panels and beveled tunnel gives racers the advantage of riding the way they want – without interference from the chassis.


New for 2020, the rear of the chassis has been redesigned with a new tunnel, heat exchanger, bumper and taillight that better fits its purpose for the track. The Kashima-coated rear shocks get an Integral Base Valve seen on the factory shocks last season. The 137-inch rear skid is also updated with a more durable rail design.


Up front, the proven RAS 3 suspension features a long spindle allowing higher cornering speed and a unique power steering system for precise handling with less effort to make easy work of changing lines. The shock reservoirs have been turned inward to protect them in close quarters racing. The front shocks also feature Kashima coating and new Integral Base Valves on all shocks add the ability to adjust not only High and Low Speed Compression but also High Speed rebound. The internal workings of the 600R E-TEC engine have also been updated with a new cylinder design for increased horsepower above 6000 RPM. New ECM calibrations ensure stronger starts and harder pull in high-load, deep bump situations. There’s also a new fuel pump that sucks every bit of pre-mix fuel allowing racers to save weight by running with minimal amounts of fuel.


The Brembo brake system gets refined with a new larger, stronger backing plate that ensures the chassis and brake stay in alignment all while reducing bearing load and wear.


Finally, Ski-Doo snocross racers should be out front early and often with a new mechanical holeshot device that allows for more efficient weight transfer and quicker response off the line.
