PUTTING YOU AT THE CENTER
Designing the REV Gen4 powerpack very narrow centralizes the sleds’ greatest mass, making them incredibly responsive to your input – whether it’s on a tight trail corner or a technical deep snow carve. We also centered the powerpack laterally in the chassis – the first time a sled maker has done so – so it feels the same whether you're turning left as right.
RIDE HOW YOU WANT
Our team focused intensely on enabling you to more precisely control the sled, but also to ride it in different ways. There's a lot more room to move on the REV Gen4 with the narrow design – both side-to-side and front-to-back – that some describe it like riding a motorcycle. With so much room to move, you'll easily find a riding style that works for you on the trails or in the powder.
DESIGNED FOR HOW YOU RIDE
While the Ski-Doo sleds share many components, each sled is specialized for its use. The MXZ features the RAS 3 front suspension with rack steering (on select models) for precise cornering and control in nasty terrain, plus a flat footrest, trail-specific Ergo-Step side panels and open toe-holds for cornering. Summit sleds are tailored for deep snow riding with powder-dynamic body panels, open running boards, an open tunnel cap and new track designs. Crossover sleds feature the best of both worlds with a unique cMotion rear suspension, and adjustable ski stance. Touring sleds focus on the rider-centric comfort and convenience. Utility sleds feature wide tracks and nearly endless accessory options.
DESIGNED FOR THE MOUNTAINS
The REV-XM platform variation is designed to make mountain riding easier for all levels of riders. Everything the driver interacts with is designed specifically for mountain riding, such its more forward foot position, running board openings, flat-mount gauges, and minimal seat. The side panels are even specifically designed for easily sliding through powder.
LIGHT AND PRECISE
Specialized for trail riding, the REV-XS handles with remarkable precision, capability and comfort. Side panel edges are more angled for getting farther off the side of the sled in aggressive cornering and wind protection is excellent. Styling is described as “layered floating edge” design, with origami-like surfaces which make the sled appear lightweight and compact.
STRONG AND SLEEK
BRP designers tightly wrapped the mechanical package with sharply intersecting planes, a style called “facetised” design. This gives sleds with the REV-XP body style a compact, aggressive and lightweight look.
RUGGED AND CAPABLE
The REV-XU is specialized for utility applications, especially to accommodate larger tracks and for deep snow flotation. Variations of the REV-XU are further tailored for the diverse work-snowmobile world:
- The REV-XU Tundra variation has a LTS telescopic front suspension and styled to be more sporty as a light utility vehicle.
- The Expedition REV-XU variation has a rugged style and a more precise dual A-arm front suspension to meet its role as a touring utility vehicle.
With a very wide tunnel to accommodate tracks as broad as 24 in. (61 cm) and a deep-snow specialized LTS front suspension, the Skandic REV-XU is the version most specialized for heavy duty work.
