Feed Your Passion: Dave Norona’s Glacial Adventure

Part of the beauty of That Ski-Doo Feeling is that everyone experiences it in their own way. For some, it’s romping through powdery meadows. For others, it’s gripping the throttle through tight, twisting trails. For other, like ambassador Dave Norona, it’s excitement of venturing into the unexplored. Using his Ski-Doo snowmobile to unlock access to magical places few ever get to see from afar, much less fully experience.

For Norona, feeding his passion for That Ski-Doo Feeling is all about going where others won’t. Not because they can’t, but because it takes just the right amount of determination and skill set to not just survive in the backcountry, but embrace it. And a multi-day ride to the glaciers of British Columbia is the perfect way to share that passion with the rest of us.

According to Dave, there’s nothing more rewarding than an overnight adventure on a sled. It allows you to indulge all your senses in the experience. The sights are one thing, but the sounds, the camaraderie, the endless emotion is what makes these adventures epic. There are maps, but there are no trails. You look around and see nothing – and you fall in love with it. You’re so far out there, you don’t know where you’re at – and you’re totally at peace with it.

Adventures like this are so magical because it’s everchanging. You can come back year after year and never have the same experience. The landscape is constantly morphing. Accessing this type of glacial terrain can be drastically different from one ride to the next. Every ride is a new adventure, and that is what feed Dave's passion.
